Das einzig interaktive, was ihr bunt und laut in Büchern bekommen werdet, ist Werbung OK, vielleicht sehe ich das auch einfach ein bisschen zu prosaisch. Aber realistisch. |

Aber ich denke nicht, dass dieser Markt so groß ist. mir ist es angesichts der Preise nicht genug, weshalb ich wohl ein (Linux kompatible) Tablet hohlen werde. |

Ich denke, es ist nicht unbedingt wichtig ob dieser Beitrag ehrlich ist oder Marketing, sondern interessant sind die Verkaufszahlen. Und die können auch durch Marketing entstehen.
Wenn man sich den Apple - Hype anschaut oder die Vorbestellungsschätzungen, wird der IPad wohl nicht gleich wieder vom Markt verschwinden, sondern als Konkurrenz das Geschäft beleben. http://business.chip.de/news/Apple-i..._41944337.html |

Mich würden bessere Zeitungsinhalte, offenere Vertriebsmöglichkeiten, größere Angebote und angemessenere Preise eher interessieren. Da finde ich könne das iPad eher "stören" als "beleben". Auch denke ich das rein technisch das iPad den ebook Markt eher wieder zurück werfen könnte als "beleben". Nehmen wir das Iphone als Vergleich. Das war in meinen Augen nicht allzu innovativ aber es machte die Dinge die vergleichbare Telefone konnte einfach richtig. Und seit dem kopieren andere Hersteller wie nur geht das Iphone. Das kann man in meinen Augen schon als Belebung ansehen. Aber das iPad macht in meinen Augen hinsichtlich einem reinen ebook mal so gar nichts richtig. Rückschritt zur LCD Technik (für die restliche Nutzung des iPads natürlich unabdingbar und auch der Kaufgrund für mich) aber ich hoffe inständig das die Konkurrenz nach einem Verkaufserfolg des iPads nicht demnächst nur noch dämliche LCD Bildschirme auf den Markt schmeisst. Das iPad sehe ich eher als nette Ergänzung um mal 1-2 Stunden bunte Magazine etc. lesen zu können und natürlich für all die anderen Anwendungen (Safari, Mails, Video). Aber um 5-6 Stunden am Pool zu lesen gehe ich doch nicht ernsthaft wieder zu einem LCD zurück? Das ist doch einfach nur albern. Ich denke auch nicht das "der" Käufer des iPads sofern es den überhaupt gibt 5-6 Stunden am Stück Bücher lesen wird. Das wird wie viele Apps am Iphone auch das iBook App zum rumzeigen sein für viele. Trotzdem wenn es ein Kassenschlager wird was nicht unwahrscheinlich ist dann kann es ebenso wahrscheinlich die ebook Reader Enticklung zurück werfen als beleben. Bei aller Skepsis bin ich doch mal gespannt. Zumindestens seit iRex mit dem iLead an den Markt gingen war es nicht mehr so spannend wie sich alles weiterentwickeln wird finde ich Last edited by Sischa; 03-15-2010 at 10:11 AM. |

Wenn ich die dort genannten 4000 verkauften Exemplare für das Kochbuch ernst nehmen kann, dann Hut ab! Damit hätte textunes eine gesunde Basis, um sich gut zu präsentieren.
Andererseits ist gerade textunes damit ein absolutes Konkurrenzprodukt zu iBooks, also kann man nur gepannt sein, wie Apple damit umgehen wird. Als iPhone-App wird es wohl sicher weiterhin bestehen. Dediziert fürs iPad? Hm ... Das bleibt aber abzuwarten. Und das ist für einen eBook-Leser schon ein sehr großes Fragezeichen, um ein iPad ungesehen zu ordern. |

Verlage - und vor allem der Fachhandel - drohen, zu Verlierern der Digitalisierung zu werden. Potentiell gefährlich für Buchhändler ist aber nicht nur Amazon. Die Berliner Firma Textunes etwa setzt auf Handys statt auf Kindle und Co. - mit einigem Erfolg. |
