BeBook Neo e-mail & wifi
Am considering the Neo.
I downloaded the users manual from their website but it doesn't directly mention e-mail. In the section on the web browser it shows a screenshot that has a gmail tab. Does the Neo have an e-mail program or are you restricted to just using gmail? Also wondering if anyone has had any problems with the wifi implementation. Thanks. |

There's no mail program - you need to use a web-based mail client.
Text-based web sites work OK; graphical ones tend to be somewhat slow. Using WiFi does, of course, drain the battery very quickly, as you would expect. |

There's a "virtual" keyboard on the touch screen. You wouldn't want to write an essay on it, but it works OK for short e-mails.
