If I have the disk space, I'd prefer to copy my library and test the copy and if it's OK, then I can deleted the other copy.

Thanks for letting me know about this piece of software, I purchased it cause it's less than the price of a good book. I never liked Calibre, I used it only to remove the DRM but I learned to create my own python scripts in order to avoid using it.

They lie. When you go to their website, you see it say...
Alfa eBooks Manager The most powerful and easy-to-use Book Organizer That's a lie as calibre is the most powerful and easy-to-use. Also, they have a video they could not be bothered to make it in hi-res. It's 360p and very fuzzy when full screen. There is a lot you can do with calibre thanks to the plugins that you cannot do with Alfa. Alfa is OK, but overall, it's not very useful for managing eBooks on various devices. |

Î never used Calibre for anything else than DRM stuff because the interface is so unintuitive for me that it's unusable. I think it's because of Calibre that no other company invested in such software and so we are stuck with only one option.

The notion that at UI should be instantaneously intuitive (no research or learning curve) to a new user is ludicrous to me. Every added capability will be something a user will need to familiarize themselves with. We've become tricked (mainly by non-programmer UI "experts") into believing that there's some magic UI practice which will render a user guide unnecessary -- regardless of the complexity of an application's functions/features. If you want to know how to truly use an application: RTFM and/or experiment with it.
