I just happened to pick this up before you posted it. I split it into the three separate books and used the beautiful old Bantam covers, same as I did for Little, Big.

I read it a month or two ago, it's really good. Still on sale and well worth picking up. You don't have to have read all the previous novellas, but it'll help if you have. Besides, they're all great fun to read, so you should totally read them all.

The events in this novel follows directly after Network Effect (Murderbot #5), and I would definitely recommend reading it before. I read System collapse a couple of months ago and didn't enjoy it very much. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I re-read Network effect before, as my memory is terrible and there's not much explanation or reminders of the the previous novels.

I agree System Collapse is really good, but I also agree that it helped to have read the previous book not too long ago.

Of course, Murderbot's fine touch in snark doesn't require any previous knowledge to appreciate
