PW3 not mounting on USB, maybe bricked?
I had a total brainfart starting to do the jailbreak and put it through the demo mode stuff but without the payload, so it's just cycling display images and if it responds at all to the screen being touched it just shows the message about not being connected to a network or missing demo data. Touching the message to open configuration does nothing.
Is there any way to get it back to a functional state without prying it open and soldering a serial connector into it? I'm up for a lot of goofy shit but I'm dogshit at soldering. |

I got through the jailbreak apparently successfully, got the "successfully installed jailbreak" message. But something crashes after that and it won't load the hotfix.
When trying to load it through the update menu, i hit ok and the box disappears after a while but nothing seems to happen. If I force it to reboot the update fails with Update Error: 2 and then deletes the bin file on next reboot. I'm reading through the jailbreak thread hoping someone else had the same problem but haven't found anything relevant seeming by page 34. |
