So, I was reading this thread with great interest: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=351027

Especially the parts about the weight of the device and how heavy it might feel.

I suffer from very bad muscle cramps, and since my doctor won't let me have Opium or Heroin, I have to lie down for long periods when I get an attack.

I came up with this jig that works wonderfully for me and I thought I'd pass it on.

I bought TWO of these: "SAMHOUSING Tablet Stand for Bed,360 Degree Rotating Bed Tablet Mount Holder Stand with Aluminum Arm" and it looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/fvRKpus I then took them apart and made one long part, like this: https://imgur.com/sGBr4a7 I circled the added piece.

This worked great and has a lot of range - until it fell on my face. So I came up with this method of attaching it to my headboard: https://imgur.com/gyP2LxI

I put that cross together with a brad gun and nailed it to my headboard with brads as well.

A friend's wife, who is bedridden, had one made for her and she loved it.

If I had a clicker I wouldn't even have to raise my hands for page turns, but I am totally not that lazy.

I hope this will help someone.

I've seen ready made clamp-on angle-poise lamp style holders for phones, tablets and microphones. A good idea.
