Dark mode checking for Metadata Source plugin

Can Metadata Source plugin detect if calibre is running in dark mode?

When checking:

Code:

is_dark_theme = QApplication.instance().is_dark_theme

I always get false.

No they run in worker processes and/or the command line.

I see. I solved this by saving the information about the used dark theme directly in the plugin configuration, so the user can turn it on and off himself.
