How to solve bold font issues for 3rd party apps, such as Overdrive, O'Reilly
First, go to Apps, then hold the icon of app. A menu will pop out with option "Optimize"
Second, go to tab "Other", unselect option "Webpage font bold". Enjoy the normal font now |

You can also turn off something like “Auto optimize new apps” in Settings
