Split screen
I have just figured out that it is possible to use split screen with Android 8.0-based firmware. You should click the icon in the right end of the system bar, so you get page titled "Background management" with images showing recently used apps. Then you drag image of an app. If it supports split screen (KOreader unfortunately does not), message "Drag here to use in split screen" appears at top and you can do it. On the screen shot stock reader and GoldenDict dictionary app are open in split screen.

Yes. I noticed that first on my 10" Lenovo Android 8.x tablet. Mostly it works badly and with many apps not at all.
Because Android is a mess and does Windows worse than Win 2.0 or DR Gem on a 286. |
