To Work Down My TBR Pile
I've got way too many TBR books so I'm going to try to get to them, instead of just going for the latest shiny thing.
Most of what I've been reading the past few years has been Urban Fantasy, Science Fiction, Mystery, Paranormal Mystery/Romance, and Cookbooks. I do want to try to read more non-fiction this year. I tend to do a lot re-reading of favorite series prior to reading the latest release, which is how I started out this year. I am finding, though, that reading actual paper books with their smaller font sizes is more tiring on my eyes now, so it'll be a challenge to work my way through my non-ebook TBR stacks. RR = re-read ================= January 2021 1. The Gathering Edge - Sharon Lee & Steve Miller, RR 2. Neogenesis - Sharon Lee & Steve Miller, RR 3. Accepting The Lance - Sharon Lee & Steve Miller, RR 4. Trader's Leap - Sharon Lee & Steve Miller 5. A Trouble of Fools - Linda Barnes (Carlotta Carlyle series) 6. The Snake Tattoo - - Linda Barnes (Carlotta Carlyle series) 7. Coyote - Linda Barnes (Carlotta Carlyle series) 8. For Whom The Book Tolls - Laura Gail Black 9. Ink & Bone - Rachel Caine (currently reading) Last edited by Xanthe; 01-20-2021 at 04:50 PM. |

GOALS FOR 2021
Edit 25 December 2021: I burned out on reading 2 long book series and instead read many other books, but I will try again next year.

I sign up for reading challenges every year. The last time I actually completed one was back in 2015. This year is going to be different. I am going to try and use overdrive more and not spend as much money on books this year. I have also set a goal to watch 52 movies this year.
EDIT 12/15/21: Kinda sputtered out on this challenge. Oh well, been reading more lately though. There's always next year. Goal: Read 52 books Watch 52 Movies Books read: 23 Spoiler:
Legend: 1 No interest, didn't finish or hated. 2 It didn't completely suck. Enjoyed some of it. 3 Average. Enjoyed reading. 4 Really enjoyed. Might read again. 5 Among the best read this year. Keeper. Would read again. Pages Read: 10780 Money spent on books so far: $146.79 Movies Watched: 6 Spoiler:
