Converting IMP
I've been searching for a conversion program that can handle .imp files, and was really starting to despair that nothing like this existed! I've tried the GUI being developed here (can't find the thread... ), but had less-than-useful results so far.
After Googling for several days, looking at page-after-page of results, I found one that works, extracting the text to its own folder along with any jpgs (covers, maps, etc) that are included in the imp file. Useful? |

That attachment originally came from this thread in the IMP forum here at mobileread.com (and from me).
It really doesn't need to be re-posted here, unless of course, it's been updated. That other program, ConvertIMP, can extract/convert from .imp files to .html with images/styles. It was based somewhat on imp_dump, so should yield at least as good results, if not better. Check it out, again! Last edited by nrapallo; 02-28-2009 at 07:33 AM. |
