I've been reluctant to set a challenge, because for me, reading is a like a delicious stolen pleasure. I don't want to turn it into work. However, i admire what everyone else is doing, and can see the appeal. So, after a lot of thought, i've decided on three worthy goals for 2015.

Firstly, take a lunch break away from my desk at least once a week, and go somewhere quiet, where i can read for a few minutes. I've recently discovered that reading on my ipod touch is very comfortable, so there is no need to take my ereader to work, especially as Amazon can syncs them.

Secondly, cut back deeply on buying new ebooks, and read instead from my existing hoard.

Thirdly, organize my books in Calibre, so i can get a better handle on what i've already got.

To Succeed where I failed last year; 52 books - 52 weeks

I completely failed my own challenge last year...couldn't even read 52 books. I just want to believe that it was due to unfortunate life circumstances and not my resolve. Here's hoping 2015 is a MUCH better year on all fronts.

This year I am aiming to do what I could not last year; 52 books in 52 weeks. I thought it was a simple enough task

{fingers crossed}

My goal is the same as always, 144 books in 2015. 2014 was my closest attempt yet to reach goal, I finished 138 books. I usually do fine until the end of the summer, and then I start to fade in the fall, and December is my worst month of the year.

2/12/15: Serious suckage so far this year. Currently 4 books behind schedule.
