Robeson, Kenneth: Savage 55 - The Feathered Octopus. V1. 22 August 2012

Doc Savage Magazine #55 - The Feathered Octopus
by Kenneth Robeson (1937)

Lester Dent (October 12, 1904 – March 11, 1959) was a prolific pulp fiction author, best known as the creator and main author of the series of novels about the superhuman scientist and adventurer, Doc Savage. The 159 novels written over 16 years were credited to the house name Kenneth Robeson.

Synopsis:
Lured into a trap by a bogus appeal to his sense of goodness, Doc Savage saw a dangerous plot to gain control of all the World's airlines. But the monstrous financial manipulator High Lar, his wife Lo Lar, and their gang hadn't counted on the superhuman strength and cunning of the Man of Bronze to uncover their evil plan.

Note:
This edition does not include any artwork or illustrations from published works.

Hi John. It's my understanding that this site has been receiving DMCA take down notices by various publishing companies and is considering a move towards the life + 70 copyright rule that is in use in the United States.

Unfortunately the Doc Savage books, while inside the Canadian life + 50 rules, don't qualify under American copyright law. As a result I've voluntarily decided not to upload any books that don't meet American standards until the forum administration promulgate new rules that clarify which authors/books qualify for inclusion in the site library.

Thanks for your message.

I would be interested to learn what Canadian law has to say about it.

I was wondering what had happened to my fav stories too.

I thought they were out of copyright.

Good to see some of them back.

Thank you for making them.

Peace,

John P.
