Updating the SED file probably won't do it. The association already exists for using the mobipocket viewer.

You best bet is to use this regutils package, and mrxvt to make the change you need.

Of you could use the File Types UI in windows rather than editing the registry.

Huh?

We're talking about the iLiad's registry. I don't know of any Windows utility that can edit that (other than a text editor).

Guess my misstake for the wrong thread.. I'm using 0.8.14 which has the toolbars gone so can't get to the settings

I was able to use navigation in 0.8.14, however the progress bar is very small by default. See Update Settings for FBReader 0.8.14 for how to make the bar bigger. You may also need to re-calibrate the touch screen.

Are there some version of FBREADER who have toolbar and .ePUB support?

the 0.8.14 and 0.10.7 version doesn't have toolbar but have epub support.
the 0.8.4 version have toolbar but doesn't have epub support
