The Lenovo Thinkpad X60 pens work great, and have the eraser and right-click button (not useful on the eDGe, but very handy on a tablet)

Ahh, thanks for the tip. In general, I don't do a lot of shopping.

I received my Motion Computing LE1600 & LS800 SERIES Digitizer Pen and she is a beauty. I bought it following the recommendation of many other users on this forum. They were so right. It is comfortable, well built, writes like a dream and comes with 5 additional tips. Works perfectly with the Pocket Edge. A little pricey but definitely worth it if you plan to use the Journal a lot.

I am having little pockets on PE ereader where the pen stroke is off by 1-2 mm from where the tip of pen touched the screen.
Could this be due to the pen? Will the better pen such as LE1600 or LS800 series be able to solve this issue? |

Is the screen calibrated? (Also, if the pen is held differently for calibration than for regular writing it causes deviation between the screen and pen's writing point.)
Maybe the bigger pen works better. Hard to say. As far as I've seen the Penabled electronics is pretty standard from pen to pen. Just the shape of the pen changes. I've noticed that when the pen doesn't appear to match the point of drawing on the screen it was me shifting angles on the pen. It could be that a better shaped pen will help you hold it more consistently, so you don't get this deviation. |

Just wanted to let everyone know I just received my Penabled Wacom pen from Amazon, see link below. It was 19.99 (US). It works with the eInk side perfectly, is grey and black, better matching my PE and, best of all, fits exactly into the pen slot!
As the regular pens are not being manufactured anymore for Entourage, this is a great "back-up" pen if you are like me and leave everything in the wrong spot. http://www.amazon.com/Penabled-Table...5056043&sr=8-1 |

It's a common problem on this forum with sites getting chopped in the middle. One way around that is to highlight some text and add a link to that text. (Rather that just pasting the link into your message.) Then, the link seems to copy in its entirety.

Touch Screen Recalibration
Consider trying this application:
http://vegantab.gojimi.com/download/...ecalibrate.apk I have no idea HOW it works, but I was having a similar problem on the left hand side of my LCD screen. I found that running this made my screen a bit more sensitive as well as more accurate. Doesn't do anything for the e-ink side, but it's worth a try. |
