Kindle für Pc und Calibre
Hallo
Ich hab eine PDF Buch mit Calibre in Mobi Konvertiert, wie bekomme ich das Buch jetzt auf "Kindle für PC" ? auf demselben Pc, einfach rüberziehen geht nicht. Wie löscht man auf Calibre dann die PDF datei ohne das die Mobi datei auch gelöscht wird. vg Reymund |

In Calibre kann man irgendwo angeben was man für einen reader hat. Sorry, bin nicht zu Hause und kann momentan nicht nachsehen.
Wenn man dann den Kindle mit dem PC verbindet erkennt Calibre den Kindle (calibre muss natürlich gleichzeitig gestartet sein) und dann kann man von calibre aus das Buch zum Kindle senden. Es geht auch irgendwie automatisch mit mail, da bin ich aber noch nicht hintergestiegen und mir genügt diese Variante. Steht irgendwo in der Beschreibung von Calibre wie das geht. Sorry, sehe grad, da steht kindle für pc, in der calibre Datei werden alle Bücher gespeichert, da mal schauen, da müsstest Du das Buch als pdf und mobi finden, da doppelt drauf klicken, und es sollte sich eigentlich im kindle für pc öffnen. Auf Kindle für PC erscheinen meines Wissens nur bei Amazon gekaufte Bücher.
Kann mich aber auch irren, ich nutze die Software nicht. Und bei Calibre löschst du Bücher eines bestimmten Formats, in dem du einen Rechtsklick auf das Buch machst >> Bücher entfernen >> Dateien des angegebenen Formats der Bücher entfernen |

du kannst das Buch einfach in den Ordner "My Kindle Content" verschieben, dann wird es erkannt. Ich würde dir als Konvertierungstool übrigens den Mobicreator empfehlen, der liefert meistens bessere Ergebnisse als Calibre. Die Dateien in Calibre kannst du löschen, indem du das Falldown Menü rechts neben dem grünen Löschpfeil öffnest, da gibt es dann den Punkt "Dateien des angegebenen Formats der..." einfach auswählen und fertig. Das hat alles geklappt, das Buch läßt sich aber nicht mit " Kindle für Android" syncronisieren, schade.

Nein, ich habe bei " Kindle für Pc" auch Syncronisieren gedrückt und gedacht das das jetzt über Amazon gehen würde . Da hab ich wohl falsch gedacht .

Nee, das geht leider nicht, du musst das Ebook auf jedes Gerät kopieren, auf dem du es nutzen möchtest. Der Lesestand kann dann aber synchronisiert werden.

Lesestand synchronisiert nicht
@hamlok So, mit dem Kindle (ganz neu!) bin ich sehr zufrieden. Aber der Lesestand wird nicht synchronisiert. Ich habe ein Buch bei Amazon gekauft und dieses auf dem Kindle und auf der Kindle-App auf dem iPhone. Beide Geräte sind bei Amazon.de angemeldet.
Kann es sein, dass der Lesestand nur zwischen Kindle-Geräten synchronisiert wird oder habe ich irgendwo etwas übersehen? Beste Grüße, Bernd |

WiFi muss natürlich an sein, damit die synchronisierung funktioniert, für alle Geräte/Apps.

Dass WiFi an sein muss ist schon klar - es scheint ein Fehler in der iPhone-App zu sein. Die übermittelte letzte Position vom iPhone ist einfach Quatsch … :-(

Fußnoten sind auch ein Unding dabei, da meistens am Ende des Buches. Sobald du einmal eine ange"surfst" hast, hast du das Buch quasi schon gelesen
Konnte aber bei den Apps (iPod / iPad) kein Fehlerverhalten finden, hab's gerade noch mal getestet, auf dem Kindle ein paar Seiten gelesen, dann das Buch in den Apps aufgemacht, und da sprang's gleich zu der richtigen Stelle. Aber Retina hin oder her: länger wie 2 Minuten könnte ich auf den iDevices nicht lesen... |

Ich probiere weiter. In der Tat habe ich bei diesem Buch auf dem iPhone eine Seite ziemlich weit hinten "angesurft". Seit dem will mich das iPhone immer wieder auf diese Seite führen …
Wenn das Lesen auf dem iPhone so bequem wäre, bräuchte ich keinen EBook-Reader. Aber es wäre ganz praktisch, falls ich es unterwegs mal spontan brauche und ich den Kindle nicht dabei habe (warten auf den Bus; Wartezeiten beim Arzt trotz Termin etc.). |

Ich konnte mir bisher immer mit folgendem "Trick" behelfen, wenn ich versehentlich in einem Buch zu weit vorgesprungen bin und die "Last Page Read" nicht mehr stimmte:
- Bei Amazon auf der Manage-Your-Kindle-Seite die Synchronisation ausschalten - Auf allen Geräten das betreffende Buch öffnen und einmal manuell sychronisieren bzw. die Sync-Funktion aufrufen - Die Synchronisation bei Amazon wieder einschalten - Auf dem Gerät mit dem weitesten (korrekten) Lesestand nochmal die Sync-Funktion aufrufen Ich hab nie geprüft, ob wirklich ALLE o.g. Schritte notwendig sind - aber das hat so einmal geklappt und seitdem mach ich's immer so |
