Has anyone encountered a speaker icon with a Cross next to it on the status line (next to the battery and Wi-Fi icons)? The Nook documentation has no reference to it and I can't seem to find any place where that icon is mentioned. I tried the 20 second hard boot and that did nothing to the icon. The speaker and headphones are working, but the icon is a mystery. How do I turn it off?

If I use the volume slider in nookmedia:Musc Player 0.0.2 to mute the sound, that icon appears on the main screen and sometimes on the status line as well. It seems once started the Music Player service runs until shut down in TaskManager.
