Post Help my DR1000 keeps crashing

Hello Fellow Irex owners

As the thread title explains my DR1000s keeps crashing. I can use it for a little while but then the red light at the top starts flashing and all the lights on the right and the bottom right come on.

I know this has something to do with the an Error code but I have no idea how to fix it. I already tried the new release candidate firm ware and even reverted to the original back-up i still had on my computer.

Frankly I am out of ideas and could really use some help.

Thank you for your help.

Is it really crashing? Or is it a power problem? Does it happen when you're using the power adapter or when you're on battery power?

I do not know what the error-code means, but have you checked the SD-card for errors?

Ok a little update. If I eject my usb card i partialy unfreezes the reader. I can word things with my stylus. But the side buttons are still all unresponsive. And all though it the lights stay on.

Wow, a similir thing happend to my last brand new DR1000S just after I changed its battery because it hadn't turned on from the first time. Moreover, it couldn't be charged at all so it didn't turn on again in the end. So I keep it aside in the corner now - I couldn't find out any solution to that. Later, I'll change the internal pannel to fix it..
