ADE registration on Mac
Just in case anyone needs - no-one wants - to authorise their Story for ADE, and they're trying to do it from a Mac, chances are you're getting nowhere fast. I got this tip from Adobe.
Connect your Story to the usb cable. Press Cmd+Shift+E and see if you get the window coming up. If not, with your Story still connected, quit ADE and restart it. You may get the authorisation window directly. If not, press Cmd+Shift+E again and it should come up. This last did it for me. If it doesn't work for you, throw your Story in the wastebin and get a Sony. (Just kidding, but it appears that ADE likes Sony. They talk Sony all the time on the ADE site.) //James Last edited by James_Wilde; 09-22-2010 at 06:27 PM. |
