Help needed from users running the latest 1.0.07 firmware
So, I have bricked the USB and Wifi of the PRS-T1 after I installing enable-adb not meant for the firmware version.
Restoring the reader with tools made by the community is not possible because they are made for 1.0.05 and below. But I thought of a way to save it. I need a backup of the OS related partitions (Recovery, Diag, system etc) of a working reader running the same firmware. Then I can restore to reader to working condition and possibly retry the rooting process. I believe it is possible as long as I don't try to enable ADB. Can anyone provide me with backup of those partitions? p.s. the reader is rooted and working now, besides the USB and Wifi, but charging is only possible in recovery(rupor) mode. |

A quite old post - and even if I'd encourage everyone to NOT upgrade to 1.0.07 (because many people including me lost WiFi connection after update), here are the backups I made while playing around.
Please note, that I already updated EbookReader.apk to morkl's JuneReader, so I attached the originals as well in the archive: http://ul.to/7srkqg3b |

I have v. 1.0.05, but i dont have a full backup. Thank you. /edit: I have a problem with PRST1 with rupor minimal. Always after the restart, the changes are lost. For example, I install the application and the app is not available after the reader is restarted. Or do not remember the last book, the page, and all bookmarks are gone. I use a coolreader. Or, Does any of you have a full backup using Roadkil's Disk Image? Of course for version 1.0.05.11130. Thank you. Last edited by peco; 08-28-2018 at 04:26 AM. |
