Keys to clear search and return to top of list?

Is there a key shortcut or two clear a search and return the highlight to the top of the library list?

In other words, if I search for something in the default view, a small number of books are shown, and there's text in the search box. I'd like to clear the search box, show all books and have the highlight at the top of the list. I could click the X at the right of the search box, click on the book list (or hit tab a few times) and then ctrl-home, but I do this often enough that I'd like a shortcut.

1) ESC to clear the search then Ctrl-Home to go to the top of the list.

2) In action chains, make a chain with one action: selection modifier. In that action, choose "Clear current search" and "Select first book in current view". Give the chain a shortcut.
