Kindle 2 outside US

Hello, I have a problem with settings. I cannot access it when I'm outside US, is there any trick to enter it? I just need to adjust my time and few more things.

No trick; you can't access it outside of the US. You can still upgrade firmware, but you can't access anything on the settings page. And since you can't connect to WhisperNet, the time will not be adjusted. Sorry.

You could ship it to someone in the US and have them register it for you via WhisperNet, and then send it back to you. Then you'd be able to change the stuff on the Settings screen.

Before the 2.0.3 firmware you could hack the USB networking and maybe register it that way, though I don't know if anyone ever successfully did. But there's no released hack to do it with 2.0.3.

There are a couple of good threads on buying a Kindle for overseas use on the forums, perhaps do a search for 'kindle overseas' and you'll find them.

But basically the best/safest way is to find a relative/friend in the US to post it to.
