PW3 - Wi-Fi issue (won't find available networks)
Hey guys, I have two Kindle PW3 (2015, black, Wi-Fi only) here.
Since I moved to my new home, I've noticed that both won't find any network to connect to (in my old house it worked fine), even though there are in fact dozens to pick from (apartment complex). These networks show up in my cellphone, tablets and notebooks and I've tried two routers and multiple chanels here (2,4Ghz network). Funny thing is, if I bring my Kindles to my work, they see the available networks there and connect fine to my phone's router. Then I get home, start the devices to find no network available. I restarted the devices several times and reseted one of them to factory settings, but with no success. Sometimes I turn them on and I see the networks in faded text, then it updates the screen and they're gone again. I contacted amazon and they said that they're having general issues with Kindle Wi-Fi in Brazil and asked for some logs. Have you guys seem something like that before? Thanks a lot! |

Do you have internet coming into your house or are you just trying networks your device sees?
First one could be a problem or you need to put in the modem/router password, second one means you need to get your own internet. |

I have Internet connection and wireless network of my own. Where I live there are around 20 other reachable wireless networks from other houses, but my Kindles usually won't even find any.

Another funny thing is one of the logs: "all_wpa_supplicant_logs", which seem to reveal that the device actually finds the networks in the background, but doesn't let me see them or try to connect in the normal interface. Here's a piece of the log: Code:
