M96 Plus or N96
Hi!
I'm currently using a Kindle Paperwhite 2, and planning to replace it, because 6" is not enough for me anymore. The size of the M96 could really fit my expectations, but I still have some worries about its pixel density and backlight (frontlight) My first question is quite subjective - is the given 150PPI is really enough? Can I read it confortably? My other question is the frontlight - Is it possible to completely turn it off? I know it isnt a major issue, but I'm very picky about this. I still havent decided which one I should get, the difference between M96 PLUS and N96 is quite minor. I could get the M96 PLUS for a total of 315 EUR. |

My advice is go with N96 instead of M96 ..
With these 2 better specs are enough to justify: 1. N96 comes with 16G memory. M96 only has 4GB. 2. N96 battery capacity is 3000mAh. M96 only 1700mAh. Frontlight can be turned off totally. Resolution of N96 is more than enough for reading comfortably. |

MInor correction: M96 Plus is 8G. The regular M96 is 4G.

I was aware of the main differences, internal memory capacity is not an important aspect for me, I'm mostly worried about the 150ppi screen, which might be noticeably bad with a 9.7" screen.

Well, i think the best alternative right now could be the Onyx i86, 250 ppi, 8 inc display. Or perhaps it might be worth to wait for the n96 plus (hopefully with a better screen resolution)
