TOC-Editor: TOC according to file names?

I have an ebook where the chapters are just indicated by image files. With the edtior i could split the files according the chapter and rename the files. Now I would like to create a TOC according to the file names. Is this possible? If not this would be nice

Put the images in <h1> tags, and add the "title=" attribute to give the chapter name.

If all you're trying to do is create sequenced TOC entry names (e.g Chapter 1, Chapter 2, etc) the ToC Editor's bulk rename option is very fast and requires hardly any manual effort at all (select items - right-click - Bulk rename). It doesn't matter what the filenames are.

Perhaps I'm still misunderstanding, but have you already split the book into one file per chapter? If so, the ToC Editor 'Generate ToC from files' will give you one ToC entry per file. You can then rename the entries as you wish, bulk or individual.

You're absolutely right. I didn't get this point. Thanks!
