Bar Shortcut crashes
Hi,

Bar Shortcut is a handy tool to access apps on PRS T1. My approach is minimal it terms of applications to have on rooted PRS T1. Bar Shortcut made possible to remove Zeam launcher, by enabling 3rd apps page in Sony's home.

Bar Shortcut works fine, except when I try to add Terminal app and Browser it crashes. I wonder it's my systems fault or Bar Shortcut is buggy. Anybody can share their experience.

fix_permissions: not found

Tried on terminal emulator got this. Seems I don't have busybox, which is required. Instead I tried Fix Permissions app from the market. It fix permissions, but this didn't help. Seems Bar Shortcut is buggy it doesn't like Terminal emulator and PRS T1 browser.

you can also have a look at logcat to find out why barshortcut crashes.

fix_permissions has to be installed manually. it is not included with any root package.

busybox can be installed via app market / busybox installer

It's interesting. Frankly I'm tired of digging into it. I've written to the developer, see maybe they will fix it sometime.

Yes I know, but I kind of reluctant to install more tools, while not sure they will fix problem.

Well it's not critical, I don't use Terminal frequently and it's not a big issue not being able to shortcut it. It's just not pleasant to have buggy stuff, that's it!

Bar shortcut crashes on your PRS T1 too? when you add terminal
Did you tried Logcat too see the problem?

Ok, I also tried adding Terminal Emulator to barshortcut and it crashes...

Try aLogcat app from market. It nicely shows error logs.
