kobopatch: difference between "custom sleep timeout" and "larger sleep timeout"

Hello. I'm reading through the kobopatch config files and came across two settings that sound very similar and I cannot discern the difference between:
  1. Custom sleep/power timeout
  2. Larger sleep/power timeout

What are the differences between these two patches?

It looks like the "custom" one has round, simple numbers (e.g. 30m, 40m, etc.) whereas the "larger" one has irregular numbers (e.g. 1h18m). Is it possible to edit the lines in the yaml for "custom" to numbers I like?

Specifically, I'm trying to get 10m for sleep and 48h for power. If there's a way to get these values in the menu, please let me know how.
