Sorting question - Page 2

I'm glad got things sorted out and Welcome to Mobileread.

When you said, "I click on the Hammer" we all knew that you were using a 0.6.xx version of calibre. That is one of the reasons We often use quick screen images to clarify what we are saying. Seeing the image says so much more than words.

Thank you. I thought I was keeping up with the updates but that upper corner in the older version was deceptive. The newest version was listed in red which totally distracted me from the fact that I actually wasn't getting anything updated and still had an older version.

I was getting so confused till I saw the screen capture was not something that appeared in my version. That's when I started digging deeper into the problem.

Now, I have the ability to sort the ebooks in the manner I always have wanted. I would never have found the line of code needed to put into it to make it work if Chaley hadn't figured that out.

I should not have gotten so snippy. For the last 2 weeks I have been extremely irritable (even my cats are avoiding me), but that does not excuse incivility.

You were the one who figured out the silly code that I needed to get the sorting the way I wanted it and I thank you very much for that.
