WiFi Connection Issues
I'm running firmware 3.17.3 on my Aura H2O and whenever I try to connect to my WiFi network I get a "Connection error, please try again" message. However, when I try to connect to the same WiFi network on my Aura HD running firmware 3.15.0 I'm able to connect just fine. Any ideas why 3.17.3 is different?

I rerember once the Kobo DHCP bug that appeared around the timeframe when the Aura HD was new. The solution then was to configure your Wifi access point so that it always assigns the same fixed IPv4 address to your particular Kobo device.
The reason then was that the wpasupplicant had changed, causing two DHCP commits in quick succession that caused many DHCP servers to see your device as two separate devices (there should be only one commit, never two). Maybe this bug has returned...? |

well, it appears that a simple paperclip reset did the trick!
