Alternate method to power up Kindle3?
Hey all, apologies if this has been covered here [I am guessing probably so, but I didn't find any relevant threads via a quick search].
My Kindle3 is brand spanking new [luv it!]. But just wondering if anyone has discovered any alternate ways to power up the device other than the quick slide and release button... The techie in me sorta feels like this slider thing may be one of the weak physical design elements of the K3, especially given its vital importance. The left/right page navs are great and obviously redundant... cheers and tia, -les |

"Eject" K3 from computer, & a few moments later, K3 is ready for action, no slider pressing required! Redundant, really? Do you have 2 arms, & sometimes hold K3 with one or other hand? Are you right or left handed? |

Carefully hold the switch still and slide the Kindle?

Could always try jumper cables though that might be the last time you see your Kindle. *snicker*

rofl! thanks gang - I feel right at home!
And I didn't mean the nav buttons were redundant...not really though sorta. Just that I really enjoy having page turn ability from both sides of the device using either hand [and sometimes my nose]... |

Since you have a canine avatar, I have visions of a cold, wet nose being better than a paw.
