Dictionnaire anglais
Salut,
j'ai un Gen3 et je me demandais si il existait des dico anglais-français ou à la limite anglais-anglais. J'en ai vu sur mobipocket mais en fait je ne vois pas très bien comment ça peut marcher. Si on est en train de lire un texte par exemple et qu'on veut connaitre le sens d'un mot, concrètement on fait quoi ? Il n'y a pas de clavier sur le Gen3... Merci |

Si j'ai compris, y'a une fonction de "lookup", tu sélectionne le mot a lire, et il fait une recherche.
Le meilleur dico anglais-français que je connaisse, c'est le harrap's. |

J'ai un résultat, j'ai installé une demo du Cambridge Klett Compact, et dans un livre anglais, il faut sélectionner le mode définition, ensuite choisir le mot et si il est dans le dico on a la définition. On revient avec précédent.
Désolé si ça parait trivial mais c'est la première fois que je vois le truc marcher. Donc ça marche mais c'est un peu laborieux vu la lenteur du système et la réponse aléatoire des touches qui sont dans ce cas utilisée activement. |

La navigation jusqu'au mot à rechercher est assez longue, c'est vrai...
Par contre, le processus d'affichage de la définition est accéléré si le (ou les...) dictionnaire est à la racine du dossier eBooks et les autres ebooks dans un ou des sous-dossiers. |

Je crois qu'il y a une version gratuite du Webster sur MR, quelque part dans les forums anglais...
Bon, c'est un peu ancien évidemment (1911 environ) mais c'est un peu comme le Littré, une référence. |

En fait j'ai acheté l'Harraps. Bon pour le moment je n'ai pas à me plaindre, il trouve quasiment tout le temps les mots (un seul inconnu je crois). Bon je ne lis pas de la grande littérature non plus. Par contre c'est lent, faut la vouloir sa traduction !
Il y a un truc bizarre aussi quand il propose plusieurs possibilité ça affiche un "écran" supplémentaire et du coup le "précédent" revient à cet écran, c'est bête. |
