Where did you buy your Witstech/Wirelession?

Hello, guys.

Im from Czech Republic where Wirelession W1060 (or Witstech A81, as you wish) is not available. And since I pretty much like the device, or at least what I read about it, Im curious where did you guys bought it. My best guess is Canadian MeriMobiles, but sending stuff from Canada to Czech would cost 50 bucks, which is like 1/4 of the device. Not to mention problems and costs related to claiming warranty.

So, your experiences with different shops and opinions on where to buy, post them here, please.

I purchased my older model directly from Kathy at Witstech. I was able to pay using PayPal which I liked better than some bank transfer.

Kathy@witstech.com.cn

It was $33.00 U.S. dollars to ship the one "sample" from China to the continental United States, so not sure what it would be to you.

They call it "sample" since they are the manufacturer and selling one unit directly to a consumer is not their usual method. They sell to the stores like MeriMobiles to resell, or sell in bulk to Wirelession for re-branding before they sell to consumers, etc.

I bought mine on ebay from a dealer in Ohio.
He stated it was new... who knows for sure.
He sold about a dozen or so of them.
$139.00 including shipping.

Don't hate me.

I bought Wits A81E recently in the UK for my sister. I had a quick play around with it and its a quick device, good for browsing.

Witstech A81E Android 2.2 MID Tablet

Ebook reading and videos were good, the speakers were ok - nothing special but it did the job, the gps found satellites but i didnt have a satnav app installed so i cant comment on that.
