Few Questions Re: 301.15.2 Changes:
"pin is requested when connected with the new device"
How does this work?
"G-sensor issue is fixed"
The 301 doesn't have G Sensor does it?
"new option to program functions to the central button"
Do we have to give up an existing function to add a new one?
Is this for short click only?
"user profiles [experimental]"
How does this work? What can be in the profile?

I think it's a typo, and the changelog is for the 302

New firmware is available for download on http://pocketbook.reader-ebook.org/support/downloads/ and on http://www.pocketbook-usa.com/support/ (on this page select the model you have to reach the page where you can download firmware and some other useful things too)

Awesome, thanks. You may wish to edit the date on the link. Pocketbook-usa.com says: released 06/09/10

It's too bad the devs didn't adopt a conventional versioning format like 15.2 Alpha, 15.2 Beta, 15.2 Final...or at the very least 15.2.0 as the test (beta) version and 15.2.1 as the final release. I am looking at the "About Device" page on my PB 301+, and it says version 15.2. But that's not the final 15.2 release, it's the test release from early June. But I am guessing when I put this latest version on my PB and take a look at the About page, it will also say 15.2. Not good. There should be very clear differentiations from versions of firmware.

Yup, I was right. I just installed this latest version of 15.2 on my PB and the About page says nothing different than what it said when I ran the test version of 15.2. Bad devs, bad devs. Seriously.

You enable profiles in settings so different users get different bookmarks, fbreader settings, etc. You switch profiles through the power button. If you enable the Last Read menu you get an icon for it.

You are very welcome. I noticed the difference between the dates in the file name and the text on pocketbook-usa.com and I think Jun 14th (the date in included into the file name) is the correct one. I hope they will fix that on the pocketbook-usa soon (the latest version of this site is a few days old and has some areas for improvements )
