Bad Zip file
I just imported 4 new Webscription zip files (contains Baen standard HTML files)
When I use the viewer, I get an error (all 4 files) Win XP SP3 32bit, Calibre 6.38 Spoiler:

unzip/rezip them using winzip and you should be fine.

I used Winrar to make a new zip file and removed the previous file before adding (via Meta data editor) |

This is an ANCIENT post (please look at the dates abovethe posters name). 6 months is really old in Calibre time
(bug) tickets are issued (and viewed) at the calibres developers site where you downloaded https://bugs.launchpad.net/calibre NB #1408528 is a fairly current ticket number |

Yes, you're right.
But I would ask if you remember if you have found a solution to the problem "BadZipfile: File is not a zip file", because now I have the same problem and I have already lost 1041 books with that error. Thank you very much. Bye, Gianni |

It is safe to say that whatever minor bug may have existed 8 years and 327 versions ago has long since been corrected.
