Editing multiple books
I have a large library and would like to open each book in the Editor to check and then rectify any issues. It would be far too tedious to do this manually. Therefore my query is, is there any way to:
1) Have editor search for all books it finds fault with, or if not possible; 2) Have editor search and then stop at the first book it finds fault with. I have already run the Quality Check plug-in and rectified all faults it found. However this plug-in does not identify all faults and issues. Thank you for any advice. |

The Quality check Plugin Has a ton of tests for both Calibre (metadata) and book structures. It MARKS the results. so you can decide to fix now, or save a Tag for later.
It also has a small FIX section (mostly Metadata) |

Thank you for your response. As stated in my post I have already used the Quality Check plug in. It does not identify all issues or faults.

I'm afraid there is no functionality for bulk running of the check book tool.

You could check out the Check Books plugin.

Hi, I have a problem: copy-paste no longer works between two different ePub documents (same for Gnome's select-paste). You have to switch from e-book Editor doc1 to gEdit and then from gEdit to e-book Editor doc2 to copy-paste! I am using Ubuntu-24.04 LTS and Gnome as my desktop manager. And Calibre is in 7.17 (with I tried with 7.15 and 7.6 the problem is still present). Excuse me for my bad English... And thank you in advance for your answers. |
