Is this a thing.
I'm reading Buried Deep and Other Stories by Naomi Novik. It is a collection of short stories. One of them, Dragons and Decorum, is a spin-off of Austen's Pride and Prejudice, with dragons.
I recall a book (and movie) called Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Is this a thing, spin-offs of Austen? |

Yes, it is for sure... "Crime & Culpability", "Pride and Prejudice in Space". And you can check this link.

I'm guessing Austen's books and Sherlock Holmes are the ones that have inspired most spinoffs.
There are lots of others, of course, I've read good ones of A Tale of Two Cities, Three Musketeers, and Georgette Heyer, to name a few. |

I haven't read it, but Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver is described as a re-imagining of David Copperfield.
