[Request Recipe(s)] (or tutorial?)
There are two blogs I’m trying to get Calibre to send to my ereader, but I don’t know how to customize the recipes (besides by putting the RSS feed link in and setting up a schedule).
The one blog looks fine on my ereader, but when you’re reading a post and get to “Read more,” the link is not active, so you can’t read whole posts. The other blog is functional, but the background is a dark grey so you can barely read it. Could someone set me up a recipe for these blogs or else explain to me how to do it myself? Both would probably be nice, since I’m sure I’ll be encountering problems like this in the future. Here are the links: http://opensourcetheology.net/view/all/feed http://feeds.christianitytoday.com/c...day/ctliveblog and http://feeds.christianitytoday.com/c...day/ctpolitics |

Have you read the section of the User Manual on creating recipes?

Disabling the CSS made it look worse and I can't figure out where the CSS is making the background turn out gray on my ereader. I don't see any directions to fix the "read more" thing either.

use postprocess_html to remove <style> tags. And use print_version to convert the article URLs to those of the full article

I tried print_version with this one blog and it didn't work. "Continue reading" still shows up.

You need to use print_version to transform the blog article url to the url pointing to the full story. If the mapping is simple you can just apply it to all urls blindly, otherwise you will have to download the atricle in the print_version function, parse it to get the url of the full article and return that

I'm sort of confused. Can you explain this in a little more detail? Where exactly to I put print_version?
