Libprs500 converted LRF super slow page changes
I was wondering if it is normal on a libprs500 lrf converted from an rtf file to be super slow in the formatting process and changing pages on the reader. I converted a book and put it on the reader. Opening the book takes about 3 minutes and changeing pages takes about a solid minute or so each page. Is this normal?

This happened to me also, and I can tell you that it is NOT normal. When this happens, take a close look at the original rtf file. In my case, every paragraph was an independent text block. I saved the rtf as a txt, then back as an rtf and it worked great. (Saving as txt got rid of all the extraneous metadata that hosed up the reader). Hopefully that will help.
Kind regards, Marinerrr |
