Calibre Plugins and Tricks
Just ordered an Aura HD, and was hoping that the community could help me gather links to Calibre plugins and tricks that will help with making a library of .epubs look great on the Aura.
Conversion to .kepub from .epub is at the top of my list. What's the easiest way to accomplish this? I'm not really interested in how Kobo renders .epubs, and .kepubs seem to be the way forward. If new versions of Calibre have this conversion built in, can someone post some screenshots demonstrating how well the conversion is carried out? Thanks! |

You don't need to download the plugin via a link. While in calibre, go to preferences, click on Plugins, then click the Get New Plugins button at the bottom of the window. The scroll through the list (you can click the Plugin Name column header to sort by name) to find the KoboTouchExtended plugin and click the install button.
I've read that it is good practice to disable the Kobo plugins that are included by default in calibre when using KoboTouchExtended. |
