PocketBook app and calibre OPDS
Probably everyone knows this but, if you want to add calibre server as a Network Library, add '/opds' to the calibre server URL. This returns the OPDS XML format that PocketBook is looking for.

Well, I didn't. So I can use Pocketbook direct instead of ghastly MTP?

Now tested on Pocketbook on Android 13 WiFi to a workstation (Calibre 7.10 on Linux Mint 21.3) on Ethernet. Much better than messing with MTP.
Took me a few minutes to discover where it is on the GUI. The only snag is it doesn't seem to have any indication when Browsing Calibre catalogue if a title was already downloaded. Very fast too. |
