Crashing Problems With Windows 7 and Built in Viewer

I recently upgraded to Windows 7 Pro, and reinstalled Calibre. It seems to be working fine for the most part, but whenever I try to use the built-in reader to view a LIT or MOBI file, the "calibre-parallel.exe" process crashes and windows automatically closes it.

Any ideas? Thanks!

I'm using the latest version (0.6.31)

Odd, I dont have win7 to test with, can some one else try it and see. Does the crash happen only with MOBI and LIT files?

PDF, TXT and RTF are fine, but those launch external programs to read of course. I also tried converting some books to ePub and RB format and then trying to open them, that seems to crash the internal reader as well.

Can you also try launching the viewer as a sepaate program from the start menu and then trying to open a book in the viewer.

If I do that, they open just fine and do not crash.

Works fine for me, although it does seem slow at times when first loading.
