Whatever you guys have, I think it's contagious.
http://news.yahoo.com/nphotos/Decora...1874088372.jpg The King of Norway recently knighted Colonel Nils Olav, the commander of the King's Guard. Nils Olav is a penguin who resides at the Edinburgh, Scotland zoo. |

this story makes me think that we need some more knights around The Ministry. Perhaps we could knight a few pandaborg. definitely a llama or two. 'I hereby dub thee "Sir pPandaborg* of the Adorable Madness", OTMUS**, KHRMZP***, LH****.'
*the first "p" is silent. **Order of The Ministry of Unutterable Silliness ***Knight of Her Royal Majesty Zelda Pinwheel ****i forget what that was supposed to stand for. i'll let you know if i remember. i did have something specific in mind. i'm open to suggestion too though if you have any better ideas. |

Sounds like a knight to remember.
Not so far, but if I do think of a better idea than the one you've forgotten, you will be the first to know. |

I think that you ought to dub Sir Nate of the Scots Imperial Penguins and Bearer of Many Readers.
And you ought to bestow a Dukedom or two on your consort, so he doesn't feel left out. |

technically, i did already dub Nate "Sir Penguin of Edinburgh" but i like your suggestion better. i think we should amend his Ministry title to reflect that.
i hadn't even thought of Dukedoms. degrees of nobility are so complex. you wouldn't happen to know what "LH" could stand for ? ("Llama Hugger" ? could that be what i had in mind ?) |

Texas is big enough for at least one dukedom, or dumb duke, or whatever.

*LOL*
This can't be true.. Isn't the king at the Olympics in Beijng now? Update: It can't be true. I was looking at the Norwegian Royal families itinerary and the 14. august they had a press conference in Beijing. Their stay and activities in beijing is located here (norwegian site) Update 2: auch.. I did some more checking out. Apparantly, the kings "soldiers" (don't know what to call them) are in edinburgh.. They even have written a diary on their website about the trip (though no penguin mentioned yet). Well, I have to give them points for humour... Now, tell me. How do I get one? Being an actual norwegian, living in the norwegian country. I should be able to beat a lousy penguin any day ! Last edited by haridasi; 08-17-2008 at 08:01 PM. |
