Kindle Paperwhite MobileTechReview
Hey just to show to you guys the review from the great Lisa from MobileTechReview, she's one of those people that we can trust because she shows the products she reviews from consumers point of view. Hard to explain what I mean, but if you know her work you know what I mean I guess.
Well, without further ado here it is. Kindle Paperwhite MobileTechReview Edit: Was trying to put the direct video on here but having problems with that, it has been too long since I last had to link a video Last edited by AkumaTakeshi; 10-04-2012 at 09:46 PM. I saw this earlier today. I find her reviews to be among the best on web.

The screen looks really white and uniform in her video as long as there's enough ambient lighting. To those of you that got good paperwhites: Does the screen look that good in person or is it just something to do with the video exposure? |

Great review, very thorough. Also, interesting to see a direct comparison in the dark with the Nook Glowlight.
iJn - I would say her screen looks very similar to mine. |

My PW screen looks more like the Nook's with a definite dark blue tint, washed out contrast, and darker shadow areas. I got a bad unit though and it is being replaced. I can't wait to get a good unit. The one in her video looked really terrific!

Looks pretty close to mine, I'd say. Certainly, mine's much closer to hers than some of the one's I've seen described on the forum.

Looks exactly like mine. In the dark, it's uneven. With good light, it's great. Which kind of defeats the purpose of a lit screen...
