An e-paper portable word processor for writers called Zerowriter
This is a crowd-funded project - I HAVE NO AFFILIATION - that I just saw. They're looking to raise $30,000. While I was looking around and then getting side-tracked on other tiny little matters [Mobileread ], the amount raised has gone up. IF all goes well, the plans are to release it sometime in February.

They describe it as a typewriter, not a word processor.

The video gives me migraines. So I'm not sure exactly what it supports, but I doubt it handles footnotes or tables.
