The author was a noted classical scholar, a member of the Bloomsbury group and a founder of the League of Nations. This book tells you about the classical Greek view of life, with chapters on the Greek view of religion, the Greek view of the state, the Greek view of the Individual, and the Greek view of Art. There are extensive quotations from translated Greek texts.
