Simple guide to choosing a Creative Commons license for your work
Have you been writing a book and wondering if you want to choose a Creative Commons license for it? It's your work of art and precious baby, so you want to choose the right license terms to protect yourself, but also get it out to your readers in a fair manner. Or maybe it's photos or music or other types of artistic work?
If you have no idea how to get started, or how to think about the Creative Commons licensing alternatives, there's a nice resource at Digital Inspiration which provides the basics at a high level. It's a great introduction for the licensing, and includes some sample real-life scenarios to help cut through the confusion. Now all you have to do is finish that book! |
