An ebook I'm editing has some images that I wanted to be smaller. I added a width style:

Calibre's editor flagged this and, when asked, auto-corrected to

My search skills are not adequate to find _="". Please explain the change.

I suspect this is just a glitch because of the order of attributes
You might try a ; after 60%

Alas, I'm familiar enough with regex to appreciate the old quote, "Some people, when confronted with a problem, think "I know, I'll use regular expressions." Now they have two problems."

The meaning of _="" in a CSS file continues to elude.

May I ask if you post what the original code was that triggered this issue? I tried to generate a similar ePub (both 2 and 3) using the code you posted and did not get the oddity you showed either using calibre's ebook-editor or Sigil.

I'm sorry to say I haven't been able to recreate it. I heavily edited the ebook in many steps before and after adding the 60%. To give an indication of the initial file:
