Disk Crash Disabled 'send to' feature

After having to reinstall Windows and all of our programs, including Calibre, the 'send to' email feature no longer works. I have tried the several remedies mentioned in the many posts on this issue, including turning off the firewall and anti-virus, but have not found the solutionn.. I get the following error when I click on 'email to':

calibre, version 7.14.0 (win32, embedded-python: True)
Failed to email book: Failed: Email ********** to **********@kindle.com

Starting job: Email ********** to **********@kindle.com
connect: to ('**********', 465) None

You should ask a mod to move this to the Calibre Forum for better results.

Are you sure you have fully configured the eMail settings (Preferences / Sharing books by eMail); setting the correct values for eMail server (and of course clicking the Test eMail button to ensure it works).

Also, strictly speaking, the Disk Crash did not cause the issue; it's the re-installation of calibre caused the problem.
