Seeking death-date of illustrator Max Bihn

Working on an E. Nesbit children's book "Beautiful Stories from Shakespeare", illustrated by Max Bihn, an American artist.

The only information I have found is advertisements for books he has illustrated. The latest "initial" publication date I find reference to is 1922.

Moderators have previously advised that for such circumstances, publication + 70 yrs would be sufficient to assume Public Domain for posting in the MR library.

But just in case, does anybody have any biographical information on this fellow?

According to FamilySearch, a Max Bihn died on 8 December 1923 in Oak Park, Cook, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago).

Since Bihn is rather unique name and most books that list him as an illustrator were published by Chicago publishers (e.g., D. E. Cunningham & Co. and J. A. Hertel Co.), it's highly likely that this is the same person.

Find-a-Grave lists this same Max Bihn with the same DOD. They add a listing for children and only list a daughter, Violet Bihn Westman, who was born in Chicago in 1900, which reinforces Max being in the area over the time span of his illustrations.

Guys, thank you so much. I just trawled the artist info sites, I didn't think of using the "family tree / obituary" information sites. I hope I remember to try that next time.

In addition the 1920 US census shows Max Bihn age 51 living at Homewood, Cook, Illinois, with the occupation of Artist.
