Can I change the shelf color?

I don't like the grey, weathered looking bookshelves on KF. Is there any way I can change them?

Sadly not. There probably won't be a hack for it in a long while either because the shelves are drawn onto the screen rather than the use of images.

Thanks for the quick answer. I figured it had been covered on here somewhere but couldn't find it on a search.

You would need to use a different launcher hack add on but i have only see ones for custom desktops like mobile phone / tablet looks, not one that shows a bookshelf view.
most who root and sideload want a complete overhaul not just a tweak to the interface, as it appears you do

I may want a complete overhaul eventually. I just go the KF the other day and thought there may have been a built in way to change the shelves as there is on my Literati.

Right now, I am reading up on changes I can make to the Fire to decide if I'm interested or not.
